Meet The Team

Hello all! My name is Roberta Medina Costa, I am blessed to be a mother of four great blessings, a wife, a friend and a passionate educator!
I was born in a rural town in Brazil, where my childhood was rooted in practical life activities on my family’s farm. I migrated to South Florida in my early teens and spent much of my days learning the english language and enjoying the beach with sandy feet and salty hair. My extroverted identity always drove me to look for new experiences and new places. As a young adult, I moved to NYC to attend Baruch College, CUNY and pursue a BA in Psychology, where I grew curious about language acquisition. A few years later, I spent some time at the University of Hartford, Connecticut where I earned my Master’s in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Montessori Philosophy, as well as my AMI 3-6 Primary Diploma. As all things in life have naturally taken me up North, I have recently relocated to the greater Boston Metropolitan area and I am so proud to be the new Director at Little Bees Lab at Foxborough.
Learning and education has always been my passion. I love to be a part of such beautiful play base education, that regards the child’s formation into future men and women, citizens of the world. I value multiculturalism and strive to guide each child to independence with kindness. I hope that all students in our community see themselves represented and included in all aspects of their learning and the learning environment. I aim to have partnerships with parents and to aid in the development of children’s full potential.
My ultimate goal is to work collaboratively as a community, where the children, the children’s families, teachers, assistant teachers, and all staff feel supported, empowered and in harmony.
