Our Story 

The early years of a child’s life are incredibly special, and the memories created during this time hold immeasurable value. It’s during these tender moments that we have the opportunity to make a significant impact on their development. There is nothing more comforting than providing care in a warm, nurturing environment that truly feels like home—a haven away from home. As someone who has spent years navigating the challenges of balancing work and family life, I understand how overwhelming it can be. My journey began as a classroom teacher in early education, followed by my transition into social work. Eventually, a couple of years ago, my husband and I faced one of the most profound decisions of our lives—one that many new parents, especially those with limited support, struggle with every day. That decision was regarding a little something called life. We had just had our first child, our baby girl, Maylie, and as a first-time mom, I couldn’t bring myself to part from my little girl and return to work. My heart led me to prioritize my family by becoming a stay-at-home mom. That decision wasn’t easy, given the financial burdens we faced at the time, but we knew that, for our child’s well-being, we needed to make some changes. The realization of what was truly important in life inspired us to take action. That’s why we created Little Bees Lab Preschool, a place that is not just safe and loving but also fun and diverse for every child who walks through our doors. What began as a small initiative within the comfort of my living room, with the support of a few other neighborhood moms who trusted me with the care of their children, has blossomed into a family-owned business with four locations.In a remarkable show of support, my husband, Miche, left a successful career in real estate to join me as my business partner in this meaningful endeavor. Now, our daughter Maylie is fifteen years old and has three little sisters: Mishka (11), Melissa (6), and Michelle (5). Knowing how our story began, with the birth of our first child being such an inspiration to the founding of Little Bees Lab, it truly warms our hearts to see Maylie, years later, volunteer her time during the summer at the centers, working alongside us, her parents. As the owners and directors of this nurturing space, we are committed to providing every child with the care and attention they deserve. Our goal is to help them build a strong foundation for a
bright future. We genuinely believe that each child is unique, and we are here to support their individual journeys with compassion and understanding. Additionally, we promise to treat every family as if they were our own.
